What the site collects
CommercialRealEstate.com collects basic analytics and marketing tracking data through HubSpot, such as pages viewed, referring links, device type and browser. Chat messages sent through LiveChat are stored along with any name or email address you type into the window. Messages sent by text or WhatsApp to (808) 600-9260 include your phone number, your profile name and whatever you write, which may be a pitch deck, a loan term sheet or a question about a sponsor. The site is free to read, so no payment details are collected.
How it is used
The information is used to answer your questions and to see which guides, glossary entries and capital pages get read. Personal data is never sold.
Cookies
HubSpot sets cookies that recognize a returning browser, record page visits and tie a chat or form entry to a visit. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the pages will still load. Blocking them limits the analytics, such as session counts and traffic sources.
Who runs the site
The site is run by Richard C. Wilson, founder of the Family Office Club, and written for sponsors, capital raisers, family offices and veteran professionals. Reading it requires no account, password or registration form.
Asking for deletion
To have your messages or contact record deleted, text or WhatsApp (808) 600-9260 and name the channel you used, whether the LiveChat window or a thread on your phone. Include the phone number or email address attached to it so the record can be found. Chat transcripts and HubSpot contact records are removed on request.
